I am a proud Texan currently living the suburban dream in the Houston area. I live with my beautiful daughter and husband with our three dogs and 10 chickens. I am blessed with the opportunity to teach 8th grade science as well, which is a dream for me because middle school education is weird, fun, and sometimes just downright chaotic. When I'm not teaching I love to travel and read voraciously (I read everything I can, basically). I am always looking for fresh ways to inspire my students and create a more positive learning environment. We learn when we laugh is my motto and I bring humor or hands-on activities into every lesson.
